Nancy

In 2010, Nancy decided she wanted to help dogs in need and got involved in rescue. After a few years with a CA-based golden retriever rescue and serving multiple leadership roles, Nancy joined Rover’s Retreat, an all-breed dog rescue based in Southern California. Nancy currently serves as a board member and Treasurer of Rover’s Retreat.

Her passion is international dogs, specifically those from Türkiye. After visiting Türkiye and seeing first hand the immense need to help these abandoned and often times abused dogs, Nancy’s passion grew stronger. This passion to help international dogs is how Nancy got involved with Rue’s Kennel. As someone who has been importing international dogs for many years, Nancy is very familiar with the paperwork involved and in a great position to ensure compliance with CDC/CBP/USDA rules and regulations. 

Nancy lives in Torrance, California with her husband and 3 rescued dogs.
